So even though he’s an absolutely brilliant dramatic actor, I really want John Simm to do something fluffy, comedic, and relatively uncomplicated. Just for nights when I want to see his face and not get sucked into the general woe surrounding the best roles he’s played.
Plus, I think he’s a naturally witty guy and he’d shine in a smartly written satire (with a bit of slapstick thrown in). Amiright?
